We are honored to say that the Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Tabriz Islamic Art University and Karadeniz Technical University and a joint seminar entitled “Architectural and Cultural Heritage in Islamic Art” was held on June 8-9 with the attendance of professors from both universities as a starting point of collaboration. Eight professors from the Faculty of Architecture and Visual Arts participated in this event for giving their valuable speeches.  
The Professors who attend the event on behalf of Tabriz Islamic Art university were: Dr. Farhad Akhoundi, Deputy Rector of International Affairs; Dr. Mohammadtaghi Pirbabaei, vice-President of Research Development and Entrepreneurship; Dr. Ahad Nejad Ebrahimi, Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism; Dr. Abolfazl Abdollahifard, Dean of the faculty of Visual Arts and Dr. Minou Gharehbaglou, Director of Research Affairs.
